Helpful Tips:
• Provide a hard copy (laser print) of the final file.
• Send all the fonts (screen and printer) used.
• Avoid using custom typeface effects (i.e., bold, italic, shadow, etc.) Use the actual typeface (i.e., BTimes Bold, ITimes Italic, etc.)
• Vector-based files (i.e., Illustrator, Freehand and InDesign) can have the type converted to outlines to eliminate font issues, but will also hinder our ability to edit text.
• Include all imported images and links with the files.
• All color images should be saved as CMYK, spot color or grayscale, not RGB.
• Delete unused colors from the color palette in your application. Do not use multiples of the same color (i.e., 340C, 340CV, 340CVC) as each of these will print as a separate color.
• Scans and non vector-based art should be at least 300 dpi resolution or higher scaled 100%.
• Items that print to the trim, bleed should extend at least 1/8″ past the trim.
